Well summer's almost here and I am so excited! Yes, I'm excited because of the sunny warm weather, (or smoldering hot in these parts) and vacations and getaways, spending lots of time with family, and watermelon season! Maybe some of you can relate, but I have 3 fruits that top my list for favorites and I wait all year round for each of them to be in season. Watermelon is my number one then nectarines, and oranges third! I adore watermelon and I could probably eat an entire one on my own in one or two days (I'm sure Nicole's probably gagging just reading this).
Anyhow, I let Chase try his first little taste of watermelon and I think he enjoyed it. They're not quite in season yet, but it was still really sweet and yummy! Here are some pictures and a video of Chase having at it!

Oh how cute was THAT?!? I love how little kids chew their food... all slow and deliberate... like a cow on their cud!! Chase is such a smart little guy! I love his sticky finger "buh bye" and how big his grin got when you said, BYE BYE!! He's so cute! and I hear ya on the watermelon obsession!!! Ever since my pregnancy (that and OtterPops were my only two cravings) I've never been fully satiated with my need for a good sweet succulent watermelon...mmmmmm
Oh my goodness that was so cute!!!! His huge smile is adorable!!! There is nothing better than a good watermelon and a cute kid getting all sticky i love it!!!!

oh gross....watermelon? Just kidding. THe pictures are actually too cute and funny, I love Chase's expression, and how he's holding this enormous piece of watermelon. Too bad Payton won't get any watermelon...or cantelope...or any of that icky stuff. :)

So adorable! By the way there is no trick to get the babies moving, I say pure self determination...but now Presley is seriously into everything! You don't realize how many little things are on your floor until you have a baby doing the vacuuming for you...yuck!
