Today is Chase's first birthday! I keep thinking about it and how amazingly fast one year has flown by and I'm still in shock that my little "infant" is no more! I bawled great big tears last night thinking about the excitement and longing I had on this day last year. My baby was finally making his appearance into this world and into our lives. Ever since we first set eyes on his sweet little face, he's lit up our lives and filled our hearts with such indescribable joy!
Tonight we had a little party for Chase and our close friends and family all came to share in the celebration. Thank you all so much for your love and support, and for making Chase's birthday such a wonderful one! Here are some pictures from the special occasion!

Oh Happy Birthday to Chase! He looks even bigger than the last pictures you put up. Maybe I just wasn't looking close enough. It's crazy to think that your baby didn't have blonde hair this time last year too.
Oh that is cute! I love seeing babies (and yes your little one is still a baby, don't worry. But I can imagine you cried. I would have too.) eating cakes like that. It is so funny! You look so beautiful! I was also going to tell you that you have the prettiest wedding picture at your house (it is sitting on your table next to the couch-black and white. You look beautiful)! It was fun to be witht the kids. I think they had a good time. :)
Pretty much Chase eating the cake was by far the best one i have ever seen, i was laughing so hard tears were coming out. You sure do have a great little boy Jess, and we are so glad that we could share that special day with you guys :) We love all of you!!!!
Yea, Happy Birthday Chase! Thanks for inviting us to the party, we had a great time watching Chase eat that cake....and growing his first mustache. Nice. I can't believe how grown up he is, they grow up so fast! BTW, nice picture Jess, you look very pretty. :)

Happy Birthday Chase. Love the cake, but why hasn't anyone commented on the candles. I thought Kyle was a good accountant, but I guess he is definetly not a C.P.A. Look at how many candles that kid was blowing out, I am starting to question Kyle's counting skills. I thought Chase was one and not seven. What's up with that.

Hi Jess, Scott used my log in to comment and slam Kyle (typical big brother)anyway, Chase is darling! Big One Year Old! Way to Go! I loved seeing the pictures of your house that is going to be build! I think you have very good taste is tile, carpet, and cabinets---very stylist--can't wait to see it when it is done. Good Luck with all of that. We miss you all so much. I about peed my pants with the mario look alike phenomenon! That's fantastic! I too am impressed with his love for the cake. Sevy isn't the funnest birthday girl thanks to her fear of candles and and distain for frosting. Maybe next year . . .
Jessica it is your long lost friend Amelia. Tonight Chris was playing around on the computer and asking if I had any friends I would like to look up because apparently blogging is the thing to do now. We recenlty started one but we're not very good at it. Anyway, I blog-stalked you and it's so good to see how you guys are doing. Chase is soooo cute. I'm so jealous that you guys went up to Rexburg. I miss everybody. It looks like life is treating you guys well. I can't believe that your baby is a year already. Today was Burton's first day of nursery- time flies.
