34 week belly pic per request. It just keeps getting bigger!
Singing for Kyle's birthday!
Frontal belly picture at 31 weeks, I think
Chase ready for the day, hair still not done and somewhat still sleepy eyes, but excited because we were going over to his friend Caleb's house to play.
Pregnancy just baffles me. How it can be so different each time, how a woman's body just grows a baby, and so many other things. So what's my problem you ask? I have a little predicament with this pregnancy. You see when I was pregnant with Chase I craved a lot of refried beans (weird), red meat, pizza, and anything sweet (this may have something to do with why I gained 80 pounds during that pregnancy). With this baby I have the same craving for proteins (carne asada meat specifically) and of course pizza, mmm Barro's pizza with everything on it...Anyways! The whole point is I still crave sweet treats during this pregnancy, however sweets make me violently ill! Is that normal? It's like my body's confused. First it craves something in particular like a cupcake or cookie or cadbury mini eggs but whenever I give in I feel so nauseous for a good long time, like I'm being severely punished. I never threw up once in my pregnancy with Chase, and I've quadrupled that with this one. EVERYTIME I've thrown up it's been after eating something sweet a few minutes to hours before. I didn't even think it was possible to throw up after 30 weeks, but indeed I am wrong as I was shown today. I am not complaining really, just confused. I do have to say that I would take throwing up all throughout the pregnancy over swelling, excessive weight gain, tingling hands and fingers, etc. ANY DAY! I just wish I wouldn't crave something that ultimately makes me a vomitous mess the rest of the day.
Anyways, onto bigger brighter things. Tax season is officially over, thank heavens! We had a blissful 4 day weekend last week and it's so nice to have our lives back to normal. We celebrated Kyle's 28th birthday on Friday and had delicious crepes, scrambled eggs, and fresh fruit for breakfast. Then we spent the day relaxing, going to the park and enjoying the beautiful day. We topped off the night with a yummy dinner at California Pizza Kitchen and then headed home for german chocolate cake (Kyle's favorite) and ice cream.
Other than these bits of news, not much more is happening with the Whites. Here are some pictures that we've taken recently. I haven't been the best photographer lately, I guess I need to keep the camera on me more often!

i looked at your babyticker and you only have 36 days left.. CRAZY!!!! looks like you're the model silloutted for your own babyticker (total show off, aren't you?) tall, leggy, gorgeous... fair world we live in.
HAPPY Bday to KYLE!!!!!!! i love that pic of him with the cake.. like "Wha? Me? MYYY Cake???" and Chase is all, "um, yeah, dad-- and I think you're missing like 45 candles, old man. now blow them out and give me some. STAT"
Chase is juicy good, i love the guy!!!!!!!!!
You look so cute pregnant. I'm sorry you've been throwing up, especially after sweets! That's so weird. And I'm happy things are back to normal for you guys now that tax season is over and can have good quality family time. By the way, I'd like to put in a special request that you come cook for me on my birthday? :)
First thing first- You look AMAZING!! I'm with Katy I'm sure I'll turn into a blimp with my second child and never get all that weight off. (Maybe that's why I wake up in the middle of the night crying when I dream I'm pregnant again-YIKES- was it really that bad? YES!!!) Anyways I agree with you I think Diesel would have a blast playing with Chase! I'm so sorry you have gotten so sick with this pregnancy though. If it helps any I know what you're going through, but I know it doesn't, cause honestly NOBODY knows what you're going through but you!! You are so close though to it all being over. YEAH!!
Jess, you're giving everyone hope that a second child won't turn them into a large marge. You look so great. I'm with Tess, still afraid because last time is still a little too vivid. My sister had a baby this morning and I heard it only took three pushes. When I hear that kind of stuff, it just makes me hate everybody. Seruiously though, I hope your last few weeks go by super smooth.
I would take swelling, weight gain, tingling hands and feet over throwing up every hour for sure! I haven't thrown up in a while (knock on wood) but it is so horrible. This whole pregnancy I haven't really craved any sweets, I just want real food like meat and potatoes. Something solid! Everytime I eat sweets, I don't necessary throw up but I don't feel well at all. I think it's our bodies naturally trying to fight back because the sweets are so bad for the baby!! Ya think?? LOL. I'm not sure but it definitely helps me eat healthier knowing that I won't feel well afterwards. Maybe stick to fruit and veggies, that has helped me out!! Oh and p.s. LOVE LOVE LOVE the belly pics!!!! You look adorable! My stomach is bigger than yours and I am only 29 weeks, I swear I have a huge 10 lb football player in here! Help me!
Hey girly! You look so good! You actually look like you've LOST weight instead of gained! Your belly is so cute and round! Chase is HUGE! I can't believe how old he looks. I just want to squeeze him, his smile is just precious! Hope you feel better this last few month(s) of your pregnancy! Love ya!
