Sleeping...well at least one of us seems to be.
So some of you may already know this but for those of you who don't my husband has what I'd like to call "nerd moments". I'm going to be in trouble for posting this. So we went to Walmart last week and I was in the hair dye isle trying to decide which flavor I wanted to be. Kyle and Chase were getting impatient with my indecisiveness so they decided they'd go look at the fish a couple isles away. I finish up and go find Kyle making a fake dog tag on one of the machines and here's what he'd come up with:

I proceed (with caution) to ask him what in sam heck he's doing to which he replies, "I need to think of one of the cities in Lord of the Rings, do you remember any?" we literally stood there for about 5 more minutes brain storming for a fake city to put on a fake name tag until I realized that by doing so I was putting myslef in the same nerd category as my dear, sweet husband. I said, "how important is this really? I think we should go before anyone catches a glimpse at our lameness." Secretly I wanted to change the name to Smeagle though and then leave. I refrained. I should maybe call this Kyle and my "nerd moment", I suppose it's only fair. This is what 4 1/2 years of marriage and 2 kids have done to our weekends! Next time the blessing story, I promise. I'll leave you with this one for now though.

What a most EXCELLENT way to spend the fourth, I LOVE that picture of Papa's face being the parking lot, hilarious!!! And oh boy do i love love love the picture of Chase and his "hot boy" sunglasses, he's totally a lady killer and Ava's panting as we read this together!!!
oh and by the way, I was OUT LOUD CRACKING UP, then I ran upstairs and dragged T down to read this Nerd Moment, brought to you by Jessie boopkins White... we both giggled and gleed over it!!!

pss. "The WHITE CITY" is in the movie. also: Minas Tirith was the capital city of Gondor during the present of The Lord of the Rings, but Gondor had a more ancient capital city, Osgiliath.

Chase is so HOT in those cute little sunglasses!! And your baby is adorable with all that dark hair! Diesel didn't have hair until yesterday! By the way I have that exact same swing, and I don't know if you faced the same problem I did but that thing was a pain in the butt to put together. Or maybe it was because my handyman husband was absent on purpose when it came time to put it together. Whatever the case once it was up I loved it!

I feel like we live planets away so I'm glad you update so I can be kept in the loop! You and Kyle crack me up (you nerds you)! You have such a beautiful family Jess! I hope Kayden comes this week!! I'm so uncomfy and I want to meet the adorable lil' boy already! As soon as we get settled, we need to hang out and show off our boys!!
It's so cute how much little boys love their grandpas. And water for that matter. Burton takes his shorts off everytime he sees his swimsuit. I'm glad Chase liked the fireworks, I think kids know when we let them stay out late. Oh, Halle(Burton's cousin) is almost two and she's available.
Chase is such a waterbaby! I wish Payton loved the water that much. Sounds like you guys had a really fun 4th despite the heat. And I love the story about Kyle, I can totally picture him doing this. Don't worry Kyle, we don't think you're nerdy, I could picture some other guys in the family doing that. :) Landon is a cutie! Looks like such a good baby, we hope we get the same luck.
Oh my! The sleeping pic is ADORABLE! (Plus I'm totally jealous!) How fun. There are plenty of splash pads I know of in town. I'm trying to think of the closest one to you. We should totally meet up. I like the one I posted onmy blog because it's a park and splash pad. The Park is totally shaded. It's located around University and Dobson-ish. Call me! (480)244-3752 we should meet up!
